What lies behind us

and what lies before us

are tiny matters compared

to what lies within us.

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

We often seek psychotherapy during times of transition, vulnerability, and heightened stress.  Clients that come to me tend to be motivated to engage in healing work: to understand underlying themes and history, to feel and self-reflect, and to consider shifts and changes in beliefs and behaviors.  I’m deeply interested in supporting each client to explore their potential for healing, self-acceptance, creative expression, and wholeness.  This healing work may involve exploring patterns, building awareness about physical and emotional reactions, exploring new possibilities for responding to stress.  In addition to verbal therapy, your healing work may include guided breathwork, exploring body awareness,  creating artwork, sharing dreams, and/or EMDR.  This work is deeply personal, has the capacity to be highly creative, and has the potential to increase your sense of well being, self-responsibility, and hope.
